Phosphate wharf
PHOSPHATE wharf (made of concrete) is intended primarily for handling of bulk materials.
Basic parameters of the PHOSPHATE wharf:
wharf length – 246 m
admissible draught – 5.0 m
maximum draught (technical) – 7.5 m
PHOSPHATE wharf facilities:
- a port crane with a capacity of up to 5 t
- a railway siding with a capacity of 150 two-axle wagons
- two bulk terminals for loading on vessels / barges / cars / rail wagons
- two terminals for unloading hoppers with side unloading (on intertrack) with the possibility of direct and indirect loading of goods to vessels / barges / cars
- a coal wagon unloading terminal (direct and indirect transhipment)
- three warehouses with a capacity of up to 4 000 t each, separated by concrete partitions, armed with gantry cranes with lifting capacity of up to 5 t
- a warehouse hall with an area of 1 500 m2 for storage of packaged goods
- storage shelter with an area of 660 m2
- storage yards:
- paved with concrete cubes, with an area of approx. 6 000 m 2
- dirt and hardened yards with an area of approx. 5 000 m 2
- three points of packaging into big bags from 500 to 1 000 kg with a capacity of 1 000 tonnes per day, directly communicated with warehouses and the wharf
- point packaging into valve bags a’25 kg and a’50 kg on pallets
