WATER CONNECTIONS

Szczecin is a city located in the north-western part of Poland, at the mouth of the Odra river by the Szczecin Bay to the Baltic Sea. There are crossroads of major transit routes of Europe: from west to east and from north, through the Baltic Sea, to the south of Europe. The city area has 301 km2 of which 25% is covered with water areas of the rivers: Odra, Regalica, Parnica, Duńczyca, Płonia, Święta and the Lake Dabie covering 56 km2 and areas of multiple port channels and docks.
